Harvey T. Strosberg, Q.C. and Irwin Law Inc. are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2018 Harvey T. Strosberg Essay Prize for the best student essay on Class Actions in Canada is Matt Malone.
Mr Malone is a recent graduate from the BCL/LLB program at McGill University’s Faculty of Law. He holds an MA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BA from the University of Toronto. His prize-winning paper, “Judicial Scrutiny of Third Party Litigation Funding Agreements in Canadian Class Actions,” will appear in an upcoming issue of Canadian Class Action Review. He will also receive a prize of $10,000.
