Harvey T. Strosberg, Q.C. and Irwin Law Inc. are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2019 Harvey T. Strosberg Essay Prize for the best student essay on Class Actions in Canada is Eliza Lynn Brown.
Ms. Brown is a second-year law student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. In 2015, she received a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of British Columbia. Her prize-winning paper, “Class Actions, Climate Change, and the Charter: Is Success Possible in Common Law Canada?” will appear in an upcoming issue of the Canadian Class Action Review. She will also receive a prize of $10,000.
