Alan P. Diduck

Alan P Diduck is a professor and department chair in the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences, University of Winnipeg. Before joining the university, Alan was a lawyer for and the executive director of the Community Legal Education Association, a social profit organization providing public legal education and information services. His research deals with community involvement in environmental governance, particularly environmental assessment. An important focus of his work is the learning implications of involvement and the consequences for social aspects of sustainability, such as adaptive capacity and environmental justice. Alan served as an expert witness on monitoring and adaptive management during the environmental assessment hearings for the Bipole III Transmission Line and Keeyask Generating Station in Manitoba.
