Carla R. Dassinger

Carla R. Dassinger, PsyD, is an associate psychologist for the Correctional Service of Canada. She has published and presented in the area of risk assessment and childhood delinquency and aggression. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Midwestern University in 2011. She has conducted research with the Centre for Children Committing Offences and the Child Development Institute in Toronto, Ontario, since 2004. Research interests include risk assessment, childhood delinquency and aggression, mental health and rehabilitation of offending populations, and sexual offending. Clinical interests include dual-diagnoses assessments, treatment of trauma and substance abuse, and mood disorders.
