Susan Barker is the digital services and reference librarian at the Bora Laskin Law Library, University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. She holds a master of information studies degree from the University of Toronto and a diploma in library techniques from Seneca College. She is the former editor and current associate editor of the Canadian Law Library Review and teaches legal literature and librarianship at the University of Toronto iSchool. She is also a contributor to Legal Problem Solving — Reasoning, Research and Writing (4th to 8th ed), and a coauthor of The Ultimate Guide to Canadian Legal Research (1st to 4th ed). In addition to her interest in researching legislative intent, she has also written on bibliometrics for legal academics.
