Celebrating Black History Month

In celebration of Black History Month, Irwin Law is inviting you to explore and celebrate the achievements, heritage, traditions, and culture of Black Canadians.

As a Toronto-based publishing company, we’re proud that in 1979, Toronto became the first municipality in Canada to proclaim February as Black History Month through the efforts of organizations like the Ontario Black History Society. We hope that the education and awareness that happens around Black History Month continues all throughout the year.
